Context
End-to-end gas distribution and ordering system. As Development Head and System Architect, designed the complete flow from producer to client ordering with inventory management.
Problem
Gas ordering and distribution relied on manual workflows. Coordination between producers, distributors, and clients was inefficient. Inventory tracking and reconciliation was error-prone.
Constraints
- Multi-role system (Producer, Distributor, Client)
- PO management with approval workflows
- Inventory flow tracking across supply chain
- Reconciliation between orders and deliveries
Architectural Decisions
Designed role-based workflows for different actors in the supply chain. Implemented PO lifecycle management with status tracking. Built reconciliation engine for order-to-delivery matching.
Added inventory flow tracking to maintain data consistency across the distribution network.
Tech Stack
Flutter (Mobile), Laravel (Backend), Express TypeScript (API), Redis (Cache), PostgreSQL.
Outcome
Replaced manual ordering workflows with digital system. Improved data consistency across supply chain. Reduced reconciliation issues between orders and deliveries.
What I'd Improve Next
Would add demand forecasting capabilities. Consider blockchain for supply chain transparency and traceability.
